she knew of no pain
other than what she always felt
she knew of too much pain
could never really explain it
of all the ways to end the pain
none seemed to work
but she would try more and more
leading she on though paths
if she one day saw a light
a life without any form of pain
she didn't know
and she was too scared to hope for it
