New pain

never before had it been so bad
pain reached the point of no longer being pain
but an entirely new state of living
no regular painkillers could help now
extreme measures were needed
those of pure alcohol
those of pure killing
but not only the pain

The funny side of pain

pain is a funny thing
most people feel it pretty often
and they are just fine
some people rarely feel it
and they are pure happy
some who feel it every day
still get by and are fine
but for some
no matter the amount of pain
it kills them
drives them to a new point
a point of numbness
a point of an entirely new pain
and in this world
the pain is divided all over again

Oh so pain lies

the pain lies
just beneath the surface
the pain kills
oh so slowly
it is stuck
and will forever be
