She knew only pain

she knew of no pain
other than what she always felt
she knew of too much pain
could never really explain it
of all the ways to end the pain
none seemed to work
but she would try more and more
leading she on though paths
if she one day saw a light
a life without any form of pain
she didn't know
and she was too scared to hope for it

she was numb
everything had just left her
an everlasting pain under it all
this late night
she would think of him
and a new wave of pain would hit
did he make her feel again

The big minor pain

of all the feelings running around
she never really did feel them
they were only on the surface
never truly there
the only she felt
was all the pain
and even that was just minor
